Pastor, St. Mary, Centralia & St. Lawrence Sandoval (December 1, 2019-) Associate Pastor of the Cathedral, was recently ordained, May 19, 2018, for the Diocese of Belleville. He lived his whole life as a resident of Evansville, Illinois and a member of St. Boniface Parish. He is the fifth generation of the Pautler family to grow up in the Evansville area. Past president of the Evansville Jaycees, former Village Trustee, He attended Belleville Area College, (SWIC) and graduated from Missouri Technical Schools in 1983. His work career spans 32 years with Xerox Corporation. Receiving his Certificate in Deacon Formation, from St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, he was ordained to the Order of Deacon, on July 26, 2008. For ten years he served as Deacon for St. Boniface Parish, Evansville. He is past youth director for the Illinois State Knights of Columbus and presently serves as Priesthood Sunday Chairman and Faithful Friar for Fort Kaskaskia Assembly #1287. Past District Deputy, Past Grand Knight. Was the founding Counsellor and Chief Counsellor of the Columbian Squires from 1979-2015. In 2015, at age 54, he retired from Xerox Corporation and entered Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology, Hales Corners, Wisconsin. Ordained to the Priesthood on May 19, 2018 at the Cathedral of St. Peter. Fr. Pautler was awarded his Master of Divinity Degree on May 4, 2018. His mother Margaret lives in Red Bud, IL. He has one brother Brian, and his wife Alice, one niece Heather (Dan) Erwin and one nephew, Travis. His father Anthony passed away in 1995.
